The Vidyashram operates a “House System” with the students and teachers divided into four houses namely Red, Blue, Yellow and Green. This is used as as basis for healthy competition and throughout the year a number of activities are held such as public speaking inclusive of recitation, elocution, quiz etc. as well as a variety of sports competition at competition at junior and senior levels.

Each house elects a team of junior and senior house captains, vice-captains, co-ordinators to help in organizing the events.
